Yup, I know that scrapbook making is a cool way to unleash the
creative and enticing side of every sentimental person out there. Scrappers these days delve on overly-used themes such as baby journals, wedding, baptismal, family, friends, pets, sweethearts, and all other mushy and memorable stuff and ideas one can possibly think of. Rare are the scrappers who create weird and out-of-this world scrapbook themes that most scrappers, like me, cannot assume why choose such strange theme.
I guess coming up with different and unusual journal themes might be a cool and innovative idea to break the cliche of cute and outwardly pleasing looking scrapbook. Creativity in scrapbook making should now incorporate crazy and odd themes that can be appreciated or abhorred by others. For instance, a nurse who creates a scrapbook of her dying patients. She insists on creating such scrapbook to remind her of how lucky she is not to have incurred fatal diseases like the patients in her journal. Another perfect example would be a photo scrapbook of families living in the streets, scorching for food in the garbage cans, and the one who updates the journal is a person who always eats in fancy restaurants and has a warm cozy home. Also, a worker at the
hospital morgue might do a scrapbook of the dead bodies he encounters everyday in his work. With such approach, that man would always remind him how fragile and important a person's life is.
When a scraper's creativity and uniqueness in a not-so natural way are fused together, it will incredibly redefine the concept of today's scrapbook making. Never mind eccentricities. Sometimes, the most eccentric themes of life have a lot more sense and are worthy enough to portray.
Have you ever noticed why most people give that damn serious look on their ID photos? If you're skeptical about this, then try flipping the first few pages of your college yearbook or simply look at your own ID. Thank God, I always give my best smile th
