I would hate to burst your bubble, but I do think Elvis is actually dead! The Beatles are slowly following suit as well, but their songs remain as distant memories in each of our minds. Don't get me wrong, but I do think Elvis' are with each and everyone of us as well! Any song, for that matter, could literally splash us with a wave of nostalgia that is both bitter and sweet. Thus, I give you a worthy tip in your
scrapbooking ventures.
Since you would want your scrapbook to contain the memories you treasure just in case you have a severe attack of Alzheimer's or something, why not perforate the edges with lyrical clips from the songs that would actually relive the moments? For instance, if I were to put in a piece of my trousers which I used on my first payday, I would include on the page the chorus of "Hard Day's Night" by the Beatles! Now wouldn't that make sense both for me and others who would view my scrapbook of memories? I think it would even give them more than a glimpse of the memories I have here in this head of mine!
So, in order for such an ordeal to be as easy as possible for you, go and collect the lyrical clips of the songs you think would give your scrapbook a well-needed emotional boost from the
digital information platform known as the internet. Make it a point to be very careful on the songs that would summarize a frame of the movie you call your life. After all, if it's your life on that scrapbook of yours, wouldn't it be good to have the actual songs that make you vividly remember both the memories and the emotions that came with it?
